PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio selective calling receiver in which a user easily prepares a character string and the character string edited by the user is used again in the case of editing the character string again. SOLUTION: In the case of preparing a character string by a user, characters and the character strings recorded in advance in an optical disk 14 are retrieved and edited by an optical disk recording and reproducing means 13 and th edited character string is recorded newly in the optical disk 4. Furthermore, in the case of transmitting and editing the edited character strings again, the edited character strings are read and reproduced from the optical disk 14 by the optical disk recording and reproducing means 13 to make a character string being an object of transmission and re-editing. |
