JIG AND METHOD FOR ADDITIONAL INSERTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the additional inserting jig which can insert an additional unit later without exerting any adverse influence on a transmission unit that is already laid and causing any disconnection and the additional inserting method using the additional inserting jig. SOLUTION: The additional inserting jig is constituted by putting half split members 1a and 1b together. When the half split members 1a and 1b are put together, an existing hollow pipe and a transmission unit are held and gripped. The existing transmission unit is gripped by a unit grip member 2 arid taken out of an existing unit exit 5. Then a transmission unit to be inserted additionally is inserted into an additional unit insertion opening 4. The existing transmission unit is never drawn in by the unit grip member 2. The additional unit insertion opening 4 and an existing pipe connection part 3 are in acute-angle or opposite position relation and the added transmission unit can smoothly be inserted.
