<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable radio equipment, such as a PHS and a cellular telephone set that builds in an antenna and to provide the antenna used for the portable radio equipment. SOLUTION: This antenna is made up of a dielectric board 1, an antenna element 2 provided to one side of the dielectric board, and a feeding section 3 that is placed to one end of the antenna element, and a chip type small-sized antenna is formed by folding back the antenna element at least once in substantially parallel along the lengthwise direction. Since the antenna is formed to be a small chip type on the rear side of which a mount land is provided, the antenna is simply fitted to a printed circuit board in a casing of a radio equipment.</p> |
