PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing roller or belt excellent in elasticity, release property, wear resistance, interlayer adhesion strength, etc., and to provide the producing method of these. SOLUTION: This fixing roller or belt is produced by forming a rubber elastic layer and a fluorocarbon resin layer in this order on a base body. The rubber elastic layer consists of a rubber compsn. containing 5 to 50vol.% fluorocarbon resin particles in a rubber. The fluorocarbon resin particles have 5 to 150μm average particle size and consist of a tetrafluoroethylene/perfluoroalkylvinylether copolymer having -CF3 as a perfluoroalkyl group. In the producing method of the fixing roller or belt, first a rubber compsn. containing 5 to 50vol.% fluorocarbon resin particles above described in a rubber is applied on a base body, then the rubber is vulcanized, a fluorocarbon resin is applied thereon, and the roller is heated at a temp. higher than the melting point of the fluorocarbon resin. Moreover, the fluorocarbon resin release layer consists of a fluorocarbon resin containing a tetrafluoroethylene/perfluoroalkylvinylether copolymer having -CF3 as a perfluoroalkyl group. |
