PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a noise, and prevent a counterflow of water in a steam recovering vessel by arranging an element having innumerable holes and a check valve on the tip facing under the water surface in the steam recovering vessel of an exhaust pipe connected to a steam sterilizing instrument main body. SOLUTION: An exhaust pipe 25 to simultaneously exhaust steam and air in a chamber 7 of a steam sterilizing instrument main body 1 is arranged by interposing an opening-closing valve 29 in the middle. The tip of the exhaust pipe 25 is faced in the water in a steam recovering vessel 23. An air introducing hole 28 is arranged in the middle of the exhaust pipe 25, and an element 31 having small innumerable holes and a check valve 33 to prevent a conterflow of water from the element 31 side, are arranged on the tip. The element 31 is formed in a cylindrical shape by porous sintered metal or ceramics. By this constitution, air and steam exhausted from the exhaust pipe 25 are exhausted in the water as microscopic bubbles by the element 31. Therefore, a shock wave or the like is reduced, and a noise is reduced. A counteflow is prevented by the check valve 33. |
