PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition useful for relieving or eliminating irritation or stabbing pain of skin by including hydroxy acid and/or a specific retinoid and Trichodesma lanicum seed extract. SOLUTION: This composition comprises (A) a hydroxy acid (e.g. lactic acid) and/or (B) retinoid comprising retinoic acid, retinol, retinal and a 2-5C retinyl ester and (C) seed extracts of Trichodesma lanicum. In the composition, formulating amount of each component is shown as follows: the component A: 0.01-20wt.%, the component B: 33-330,000 IU (based on 1g composition) and the component C: 0.05-10wt.%.
