PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a waterdrop difficult to adhere, by forming a surface layer; containing a photocatalytic oxide particle, silicone, and a water repellent fluororesin, and also having the contact angle, with water in the layer surface, of a specific angle or more. SOLUTION: An actually transparent surface layer; containing a photocatalytic oxide particle, silicone, and a water repellent fluororesin; is formed on the surface of a transparent cover, and is constituted so that the surface layer can have a contact angle with water of 90 deg. or more. In the manufacture of an antifouling member; whereon a surface layer (containing a photocatalytic oxide particle, silicone, and a water repellent fluororesin) is formed on a base material surface; basically a coating composition is applied to the base material surface to be hardened. For instance, anatase type titanium dioxide, rutile type titanium oxide, and zinc oxide, etc., are used as a photocatalytic oxide, and such the coating composition can be added by water, a solvent, a catalyst, basic compounds, and a face active agent, etc., appropriately. |
