PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prolong the life of a molding die by making either of a cavity plate or a core plate of the die of metal and the other of resin. SOLUTION: A cavity plate 1 and a core plate 2 are of the injection molding die for molding a cover for a mouse to be used for computer operation. The cavity plate 1 is manufactured by cutting a metal block, while the core plate 2 is manufactured with a resin. In the center of the core plate 2, a core 25 for molding the inner face of the cover for the mouse is formed protruding. The surface 26 of the core plate 2 corresponds to the surface 16 of the cavity plate 1. Further, on both right/left sides of the core plate 2, guide protrusion 27 which fit into the guide recessed parts 20 of the cavity plate 1 are formed. Thus it is possible to prolong the life of the molding die while maintaining the same manhours of manufacturing this molding die as those for a resin mold. |
