PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve image color tones and to improve the color tone stability at the time of preservation by incorporating polymer particulates contg. dyes and/or microcapsules contg. the dyes into at least one layer of the constitution layers disposed on a base. SOLUTION: The polymer particulates contg. the dyes and/or the microcapsules contg. the dyes are incorporated into at least one layer of the constitution layers of the heat developable photosensitive recording material having the base and binder. The dyes are added into the photosensitive material in the form of incorporating the dyes into the polymer particulates and/or microcapsules, by which the image color tones are improved. The recording material which is free from color fading of the image color tones by photoirradiation and has excellent fastness to light. Such effect is enhanced when the polymer particulates contg. the dyes and/or the microcapsules contg. the dyes are incorporated into at least one layer of the photosensitive layers contg. photosensitive silver halide among the constitution layers in particular.
