摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely communicate a liquid pressure chamber in a cylinder main body with a working fluid reservoir side by providing a by-pass passage by-passing a passage between windings of a coiled spring in a part along the inner wall of a recessed part of each piston where the primary side and the secondary side valves are provided. SOLUTION: The respective valves 50, 70 of the primary side and the secondary side of a tandem type master cylinder 10 are provided on pistons 201, 202 facing to the respective liquid pressure chambers 41, 42. The valve 50 is located in a recessed part 300 provided on the end part of the piston 201, and the bottom of the recessed part 300 is communicated with a working fluid reservoir 80 through a center hole 301, a guide hole 33 and a side peripheral hole 305. A shaft member 307 is supported on the piston 201, and subjected to the force of a spring 308 to be moved forward and backward in the guide hole 303, and in order to prevent a noise produced when the shaft member 307 collides with the side wall of the guide hole 303 during sliding of the piston 201, a buffer member 310 such as rubber or the like is provided on the side wall of the piston 201 to prevent generation of noise.</p>
