PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply working hydraulic pressure to a first speed selecting friction element so as to provide a squat preventing effect by prohibiting joint of the first speed selecting friction element until the lapse of a set time from the changeover of a range. SOLUTION: When a time TM3 from a moment (5) at which a transmission input rotating speed Ni is lowered by a set quantityΔNi from a value while joint of a forward clutch is prohibited by progressing joint of the forward clutch up to a moment (6) further lowered by the set quantityΔNi, is longer than a scheduled time tfc3 , the rising gradientαof forward clutch working hydraulic pressure Pc is enlarged. When the time TM3 is shorter than the scheduled time tfc3 , the rising gradientαof the forward clutch working hydraulic pressure Pc is reduced. Hereby the rising gradientαof the forward clutch working hydraulic pressure Pc is controlled to learn so that the above-stated scheduled time tfc3 is attained, and hence the appropriate value can be always maintained. |
