PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the lowering of ventilation capacity caused by a glass fine particle stuck to a ventilation damper. SOLUTION: A depositing device for the glass fine particle is provided with a burner 3 for forming the glass fine particle for a core, a burner 4 for forming the glass fine particle for a clad, a target 2 to be pulled upward with the deposition of the formed glass fine particle on the under part thereof, a reaction chamber 1 covering a preform 2a, which is the deposition part of the glass fine particle on the target 2, a ventilation port 5 opening to the reaction chamber 1, a ventilation duct 6 connecting to the ventilation port 5 and a ventilation damper 8 arranged in the ventilation duct 6 and for controlling the quantity to be sucked from the ventilation port 5. A heating coil connected to a high frequency wave generator is provided in the ventilation damper 8. |
