PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a snow amount detector capable of accurate snow amount detection. SOLUTION: This equipment B is provided with a strut 2 installed vertically to the ground, a bar type arm 13 whose one end is fixed to the strut 2 at a specified height, and a snowfall sensor 4 fixed to the tip of the arm 13. The altitude of the arm 13 is decreased from the tip part to which the sensor 4 is fixed toward the base end part fixed to the strut 2, and the inclination angle to the horizontal line 7 is about 15 deg. degree. When snow which layed on the arm 13 melts, its water drops and snow lumps travel the arm 13 and flow toward the strut 2 side. |
