PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compactly form an air intake system so as to realize rational arrangement, and lower a height of its constitutional part, in a scooter type motorcycle. SOLUTION: In a scooter type motorcycle provided with an air intake system introducing fresh air to an exhaust system of an engine, a valve unit 50 constituting the air intake system is arranged on a transmission case 14 of a unit swing type engine, and a check valve housed in this valve unit 50 is arranged in a direction opening/closing its valve unit (reed valve) in a vertical direction. In this way, by arranging the check valve housed in the valve unit 50 constituting the air intake system in a direction opening/closing the valve unit thereof in a vertical direction, a height of the valve unit 50 can be suppressed to be lower accordingly the compact valve unit 50 of low height, avoiding interference with the other part, can be rationally arranged on the transmission case 14 of the unit swing type engine. |
