PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-functional radio wave unit having a narrow mounting space at a low cost. SOLUTION: An automobile is equipped with an outside car radio wave unit 3 and an inside car radio wave unit. A smart entry function for unlocking a door with verification of ID code and transmitting and receiving antennas 10 and 11 used for proximity sensor for detecting approaching objects to both sides of the automobile are provided to the outside car radio unit 3, and the smart entry function capable of starting an engine with verification of the ID code and transmitting and receiving the antennas used for invasion detecting function for detecting an invader into the inside of the automobile are provided to the inside car radio wave unit. A micro-computer 17 of the outside car radio wave unit 3 switches it function according to car conditions or the presence of person. The micro-computer of the inside car radio wave unit switches its function according to car conditions or the presence of person.
