<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a cassette changer low in cost by providing a first transfer means selectively transferring a holding means to a first position where a cassette is loadable to a tape device and a second position where the cassette is transferrable to a storage means and a second transfer means selectively transfer the cassette to the holding position of the holding means and to the storage position of the storage means to make the constitution of the changer compact and to make the number of components of the changer small. SOLUTION: A holding means 3 is made to be a constitution in which the means 3 is able to be positioned at a position (a) where a cassette 2 is loaded to a tape device 7 to be made recordable/reproducable and a second position (b) where the cassette 2 is movable to the storage means by a first moving means consisting of a first motor 12 and a rack 23. Moreover, the holding means 3 is made to be a constitution in which the cassette 2 is made to be able to be positioned at the holding position of the holding mean 3 and the storage position of the storage means by a second moving means to be driven with a second motor 13. Thus, the height direction and the width direction of the changer are made compact and, moreover, the constitution of the changer is made simple.</p> |
