PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise a supply quantity of a coloring material from a hopper to a sleeve and improve accuracy of supply quantity measurement. SOLUTION: In a color changing device wherein a coloring material 2 from a hopper is supplied into a sleeve for electric wire coating by a screw conveyor 5 rotating in the sleeve 4 provided on a circumferential wall 3a of the hopper 3, the sleeve 4 has an extension sleeve 10 extended from one end 4a into the hopper, and an cutout part 11 directed toward the inlet port 3b side of the hopper is bored in a circumferential wall 10a of the extension sleeve 10. The cutout part 11 is formed from one end to the other end in the longitudinal direction of the extension sleeve 10 and a material receiving part for receiving the coloring material 2 is provided. The material receiving part is adapted to have a semi-circular shaped cross-section.
