PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To support large radial and thrust loads by arranging an aligning ring on the periphery of an outer ring, providing a spherical recessed inner circumferential surface and a spherical projected outer circumferential surface of the outer ring, and fitting the recessed surface to the projected surface without any play in a freely oscillating manner. SOLUTION: An aligning ring 12 is arranged on the periphery of an outer ring 2, an inner circumferential surface 13 of the aligning ring 12 is of spherical recessed surface around the point O on the axis X of the aligning ring 12, and an outer circumferential surface 14 of an outer ring 2 is of spherical surface around the point O. One or two splits are formed in the circumferential direction of the aligning wheel 12, and the inner circumferential surface 13 and the outer circumferential surface 14 are fitted to each other without any play in a freely oscillating manner. Because a plurality of tapered rollers are arranged in double rows, the load capacity in the radial direction can be large, and even when the thrust load is applied between the outer ring 2 and an inner ring 3, the tapered roller 4 of either row is held in the thrust direction between either outer raceway 5 and either inner raceway 6, and the thrust load is supported thereon. |
