PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attitude monitoring device of an arc array probe capable of performing proper ultrasonic inspection without the use of an attitude maintaining device. SOLUTION: Three array oscillator groups Aθ R, Aθ C, and Aθ L are selected. Counters 71L, 71C, 71R output trigger signals to a gate circuit 72 at the time when the order of ultrasonic beams of each of array oscillator groups Aθ R, Aθ C, and Aθ L match the additional value of a pulse signal p outputted from a transmission and reception control part 3 every time the beams are generated. The gate circuit 72 sequentially outputs a period gate signal outputting a surface reflection signal of each beam. Peak hold circuits 73L, 73C, and 73R detect and hold the maximum value of the surface reflection signals and output three maximum values. An attitude determining circuit 74 determines the attitude of the arc array probe on the basis of the generation order of the beams and the above-mentioned maximum values and alarms through an alarm displaying circuit 75 at the time of the occurrence of inclination. |
