PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of a front lamp for vehicles that is conformed to the projection principle and to reduce cost by decreasing the number of parts. SOLUTION: This lamp has a light source 12, a reflector 10, a lens 16, an element 40 having coating film 44 that partially passes light to cover a part of a light path and is partial reflectivity. The element 40 partially surrounds the lens 16 and has an open part 46 in which the light that enters through the lens can unaffectedly go out. Only the light that is emitted from the light source 12 and is not caught by the reflector goes out through the element 40. The lens 16 is held by a supporting member 22 and the light emitted from the light source 12 passing through the vicinity of the supporting member 22 can reach the element 40. The element tapers in a projected direction 14 of the front lamp and is made at a truncated cone. |
