摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save energy of a system in a VAV control system in which a variable supply air amount adjusting unit is provided at an air supply blowoff outlet of an air conditioning object location by estimating the number of revolutions of a fan realizing blowoff static pressure and the total required air volume from the fan in response to pressure loss from characteristics of the number of revolutions of the fan, fan air pressure, and the amount of fan air. SOLUTION: In an air conditioner a blowoff supply air from a fan 6a is supplied to areas 9-1 to 9-n to be conditioned through an air supply duct 8, and detected temperature of each room temperature is provided to variable supply air volume (VAV) control units 10-1 to 10-n. There is calculated a required air volume to the areas 9-1 to 9-n from blowoff supply air temperature from a controller 7 and a deviation between the detected temperature and set temperature. Further, there is substituted the required air amount of the VAV unit into a theoretical formula of hydrodynamics using real duct resistance of a whole duct each part and real damper resistance upon maximum opening for each duct system, and blowoff static pressure from the fan 6a is determined on the basis of the pressure loss whereby the number of revolutions of the fan 6a is calculated.
