PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow recording of background animation information equivalent to time several times as long as the recording time of a recording medium by selecting only the animation information recorded in an area corresponding to a prescribed block, magnifying such information so that it can be displayed on the entire screen, and using it as background animation. SOLUTION: A recording medium 310 outputs animation information by the command of CPU 30; information concerning background animation is recorded in the recording medium 310 in the manner of dividing the entire screen into four blocks. A block selecting circuit 311 inputs the background animation information from the recording medium 310, selecting through the command of CPU 30 only the animation information recorded in a prescribed block and outputting it. A magnifying circuit 312 magnifies the animation information inputted from the block selecting circuit 311 two times vertically and horizontally, and outputs it to a mixing circuit 32. The mixing circuit 32, with the text telop information inputted from CPU 30 and with the background animation information from the magnifying circuit 312, superimposes the two and outputs to a display 33. |
