PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent damage of a fan or fan cover by forming a gap between the fan and an inner surface of the cover when an end of a fan rotary shaft is brought into contact with a bottom plate due to drop of a fan motor. SOLUTION: A bottom plate 12 formed with a recess near an end 9 of a fan rotary shaft is provided at a central part of a fan cover 10, and a small hole is formed at the plate 12. Accordingly, when a mounting plate 5 is deformed due to a vibration of a fan motor 6 for long-term use so that the motor 6 is dropped from its initial mounting position, the end 9 is initially engaged within the recess to be brought into contact with the plate 12. At this time, a gap A is existed between the fan 8 and an inner surface of the cover 10, while the end 9 engaged within the recess is scarcely drawn out from the recess, and hence the contact of the fan 8 with the inner surface of the cover 10 can be effectively prevented. |
