The installation consists of a sports net (4) with a tensioning cable (5) and two posts (6) or arms on which the net and cable are supported. The installation also includes a tensioning mechanism consisting of pulleys (2) and a motorised roller (3) mounted within a protective cover (9). A control box (1) is provided for the tension mechanism. The control box is activated by the insertion of a token, card or key, or by a centralised management system. The control box may be integrated within the support post, or may be mounted at a distance from the post, enabling the cable to be tensioned and the net raised to its normal position for the duration of the game.
