PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To share an antenna for both transmission and reception without using a circulator and to form a balanced mixer by performing electromagnetic coupling of a 1st waveguide channel that has 1st and 2nd ports with a 2nd waveguide channel that has 3rd and 4th ports to form a coupler. SOLUTION: An isolator 2 is a port isolator that consists of dielectric strips 11 to 13, propagates a transmission output of an oscillator 1 which oscillates according to a modulation signal from the port 11 to the port 13 and outputs it to an antenna 4 through ports #1 and #2 of a coupler 3. An RF signal that is received by the antenna 4 is connected from the port #2 to the port #3 of the coupler 3 and inputted to the mixer 5. A part of a transmission signal is taken out from a port #4 and given as an Lo signal of the mixer 5 through 6. The mixer 5 separately supplies an in-phase RF and Lo that is anti-phase to two diodes and easily forms a balanced mixer. |
