PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To grasp playing information on played music based upon the expression state of the display position, movement, etc., of characters for displaying a text by changing the expression state in relation with the playing information. SOLUTION: A singing assistant image which assists a user in singing by displaying a text with characters during the reproduction of the played music and changing the display color of the characters according to the text progress of the played music based upon decoded text progress data and a background image generated corresponding to the played music are displayed on the screen of an image display means 101. In this case, a character position calculating means 108 outputs character output position information while specifying a position determined vertically on the screen for a character corresponding to the object text of current singing according to the musical interval of the played music and a position in a lateral array on the screen irrelevantly to the musical interval for a character to be sung next other than the object of current singing. |
