摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a computer system containing an integrated circuit chip having a processor and a processor clock. SOLUTION: The processor clock 302 is temporarily synchronized with the sub-system clock 307 during the transfer of data between the processor 301 and a sub-system 305. Then, synchronism is enabled after data transfer completes and the processor clock 307 asynchronously travels by a self-inner frequency higher than a sub-system clock frequency. In one example, the processor clock 302 uses a free travel ring oscillator constituted on the same integrated circuit chip as the processor 301. The change of a temperature and power voltage generates not only the change of the maximum operation speed of the processor 301 but also the corresponding change of the frequency of the processor clock 302. Consequently, the frequency of the processor clock 302 tracks the change of the maximum operation speed of the processor 301 which is generated by the change of the temperature and power.</p>
