PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching sensing structure for a cock handle having a simple structure and a small number of parts and properly adapted to a lift-type handle. SOLUTION: This switching sensing structure for a cock handle has a cock handle 5 mounted on a spindle and a spindle holder 31 for movably supporting the spindle. A ring part 31a having a recessed part P on the peripheral surface thereof is made on one of the inner surface side of the cock handle 5 and the outer surface side of the end of the spindle holder 31 and a leaf spring 53 which slidably abuts on the ring part 31a and is engaged with the recessed part P and is wider than the ring part 31a is disposed on the other surface. The leaf spring 53 may be wound and a holding part 511g for housing the leaf spring be may provided on the outer surface side of the end of the spindle holder 31 on which the leaf spring 53 is disposed.
