PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate and lay out an optimum data area on a space at the time of printing a catalogue by generating a grit setting the range of the data area for allocating material data and setting the data area in accordance with the grit. SOLUTION: A display means (a) displaying material data or the like, a grit generation means (b) generating the grit where the range of the data area for allocating material data is set and an area setting means (c) setting the data area in accordance with the grit are provided. Thus, device and a recording medium which can be read by a computer recording a print planning program set the data area to which picture data and character data are allocated by designating the range of the grit surrounded by a grit line. Thus, print planning is easily made by the computer. |
