摘要 Propylene, an oxygen containing gas and ammonia interact to produce acrylonitrile at elevated temperature in the vapour phase in the presence of a catalyst comprising (A) a copper phosphate, pyrophosphate or polyphosphate or a Mo containing compound (B) a Te compound and (C) a Re compound. The reaction may be effected at atmospheric, subatmospheric or superatmospheric pressures in fixed or fluidized beds. The reactants may contain an inert gas as diluent or steam. Numerous examples are given in which variables such as catalyst composition, reaction temperature, pressure and ratio of reactants are changed. Acetonitrile is mentioned as a by-product.ALSO:An ammoxidation-catalyst comprises (A) a copper phosphate, pyrophosphate or polyphosphate or a Mo containing compound (B) a Te compound and (C) a Re compound. When component (A) is a Mo compound it is preferably a molybdate or phosphormolybdate of Bi, Sb or Sn. The catalyst may be used in a fixed or fluidized bed and if desired may be supported on SiO2, Al2 O3, SiC, clays, Kieselguhr and diatomaceous earth. Mesh sizes of particular catalysts are disclosed.
