摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the production of cracks in and the falling out of a part of insulation materials, which are caused by the telescopic motion of a duct, in a flexible joint device for a high temperature duct. SOLUTION: In a flexible joint device which is constituted in such a way that the flanges 3a and 3b, which are fixed to the duct sleeves 2a and 2b which are communicated with and separated from each other, are connected through a telescopic cylindrical membrane body 4, and the stud bolts 5a and 5b erected on the duct sleeve 2a and 2b are inserted in the holes of insulation materials 6a, 6b, 6c and 6d, and the insulation materials 6a through 6d are put in layers, and the insulation material 6c, both sides of which are held by the insulation material 6b and 6d, is divided into two parts, and the center section is removed, and the stud bolts are inserted into the holes of the divided two parts so that the two parts made of insulation material are fixed to the sleeves. Through such operation, the intermediate layer insulation materials 6c can be freely bent, reducing the possibility of the production of cracks and falling out of a part.</p>
