PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photosensitive lithographic printing plate having excellent sensitively, printing durability and chemical resistance without causing such a problem that the ink of a ball-point pen drawn on the surface of the PS plate remains as a grainy figure after development and contaminates the print, and to provide a photosensitive lithographic printing plate having excellent aging stability in the sensitively after the photosensitive lithographic printing plate is produced. SOLUTION: In the production of a photosensitive lithographic printing plate by successively passing two or more coating and drying devices to form two or more layers on a supporting body, the drying zone in the first coating and drying device is longer than the drying zone in the second coating and drying device. This method to produce a photosensitive lithographic printing plate includes process to successively apply two or more layers on a supporting body and to apply and dry the uppermost layer after the layer just under the uppermost layer is applied and dried. A solvent having 1.6 to 2.0 dipole moment is used by >=50wt.% of the total coating solvent for the uppermost layer, and used by 0 to 40wt.% of the total coating solvent for the layer just under the uppermost layer. |
