PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a water developable photosensitive compsn. having satisfactory shelf stability, excellent in water developability, water and ink resistances and giving a flexographic printing plate having satisfactory impact resilience, giving a printed image free from unevenness and causing no change with the lapse of time by using a thermoplastic elastic polymer, a specified hydrophilic polymer, specified crosslinked resin particles and a photopolymn. initiator. SOLUTION: This water developable photosensitive compsn. consists of a thermoplastic elastic polymer, a hydrophilic polymer having ionic groups and photopolymerizable double bonds, crosslinked resin particles having ionic groups capable of forming ion pairs with the hydrophilic polymer and a photopolymn. initiator. The elastic polymer is preferably a triblock copolymer consisting of hard-soft-hard segments and the amt. of the elastic polymer is preferably 40-90wt.% of the solid content of this photosensitive compsn. |
