PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric car controller with high reliability. SOLUTION: An electric car controller includes an inverter 1 which is composed of IGBT's(insulated gate bipolar transistors) 11 and controls a main power supply, a driving circuit 3 which receives a power from a driving power supply and controls the IGBT's 11 to drive, a control circuit 4 which outputs a driving command signal to the driving circuit 3 and an ignition switch 13 by which the power supply to the control circuit 4 is turned ON/OFF. Further, a voltage detection circuit 6 which detects whether a power supply voltage on the main power supply side is higher or lower than a specified value and outputs a higher/lower signal and a switching circuit 10 which detects the ON/ OFF signal of the ignition switch and controls the driving power supply in accordance with the higher/lower signal and the ON/OFF signal are provided. If the ON-signal is detected, the driving power supply is implemented and, if the OFF-signal and a higher signal are detected, the driving power supply is continued and, if the OFF-signal and a lower signal are detected, the driving power supply is discontinued. |
