PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor mounted type or ceiling hanging type air conditioner in which it is possible to prevent a heat exchanging efficiency from being decreased, there is provided a restricting means for restricting a drafting sound and there are provided flow regulating plates for making a uniform distribution of an amount of blown air from the air blowing-out port. SOLUTION: An air conditioner is constructed such that a front lower surface of a main body 1 divided into an upper section and a lower section by a partition plate 1a having an aeration port therein is provided with a suction port 2, an upper part of it is provided with an air-blowing port 7, an air passage connecting these suction port and blowing-out port is provided with a heat exchanger 3 and a plurality of centrifugal fans 5 connected at right and left sides through a driving motor 4 and stored in a fan casing 6 connected to an aeration port. There are provided flow regulating plates 9 having a restricting means for uniformly guiding blown air toward a passing region of the heat exchanger 3 for both forward or rearward direction and rightward or leftward direction and at the same time for restricting a drafting sound of air flow between the blowing-out side of the fan casing 6 and the heat exchanger 3. |
