PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chip component feeder whose operation follows up even if the operation tact of a mounter is shortened, preventing a shutter for opening and closing a component taking-out opening from interposing and splitting a chip component having fallen by a pickup miss, etc., and preventing broken pieces from interferring with closing the shutter completely. SOLUTION: A connecting arm 60 provided with a long hole is not fitted directly with a pivot to a step pin 63 fixed to an operating lever 70 to be driven from a mounter side. And if the operating lever 70 returns by a pulling spring 78 which intensifiers the pulling force, the connecting arm 60 returns following the movement of the step pin 63 by the pulling force of the pulling spring 67, and the connecting arm 60 opens or closes a shutter 50 by the aid of a rotating lever 58 and a shutter opening/closing arm 55. Accordingly, it becomes possible to set the pulling force of the pulling spring 67 to a value in a degree free from the fear of splitting a chip component. |
