<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently provide a key pad whose external appearance has a bright color tone by forming a black resin layer as an intermediate layer between a laser beam machining layer to form external appearance of the key pad and a color layer being a design forming layer used to form a figure and a sign or the like. SOLUTION: A diffusive layer 2 is formed over the whole surface of a surface of a key pad base material 1, and an information disclosing layer 3 and an intermediate layer 4 are formed in order in a key top part of the diffusive layer 2, and a laser beam machining layer 5 of a bright color is also formed over the whole surface. Next, a laser beam is irradiated to the key top part through a mask, and the laser beam machining layer 5 and the intermediate layer 4 are removed, and the information disclosing layer 3 is exposed in a desired shape, and a key pad having an external appearance of a bright color is obtained. The uppermost part is coated with a transparent resin after laser beam machining, and a clear hard coat layer 6 is formed. Therefore, a highly fashionable key pad to satisfy a demand of the times can be manufactured by a simple method without practically generating a defective.</p> |
