<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a largest synthesized power value by detecting phase difference of signals of more than two channels which are subject to power synthesization, even when the electrical lengthes of each channel are different and optimally setting the phase of one channel according to the phase difference. SOLUTION: Couplers 19 and 20 are separately connected to two channels that are subject to power synthesization, and a phase detector 21 detects the phase difference of signals from the two channels. An A/D converter 22 converts a power level of the detection value into a digital value and inputs it to a signal processor 23. The processor 23 acquires the largest synthesized power by adjusting a digital phase shifter 24, so that the phase difference of the two channel is 90 degrees. Also, when a traveling-wave tube(TWT) is used, the largest synthesized power can be acquired, when the processor 23 controls the electrical length of the TWT, slightly adjusting the voltage of a grid pulser in TWT power supply.</p> |
