<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clamping device having frictional plates with improved durability. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a plurality of driven plates 1 engaged with a spline 4A of a casing 4, a plurality of driving plates 2 piled up with the driven plates 1 one after another through annular piled up area in common and engaged with a spline 3A of a rotating body 3, an hydraulic piston 12 held by the casing 4, pressing both the plates 1, 2 in its axial direction with a plurality of pressing sections 12a disposed in the peripheral direction and providing the clamping power thereto. Further, there are disposed a frictional plate section 21 engaged with the spline 4A and a pressure receiving plate 20 formed integrally with a cylindrical pressure receiving section 22 projecting from the frictional plate to the hydraulic piston side and having an end face capable of facing directly with a plurality of pressing sections 12a between both the plates 1, 2 and the hydraulic piston 12. Thus, the frictional plate section 21 formed integrally with the cylindrical pressure receiving section 22 with high rigidity is not deformed and the pressing power received from a plurality of the pressing sections 12a can be equally transferred to both the plates 1, 2, when the pressure receiving section 22 is pressed by a plurality of the pressing sections 12a.</p> |
