<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheath interrupter which can lessen the temperature rise of the sheath interrupter part by the heat generation of the semiconductor outer layer in the internal of cable, and can compact the dimension of itself by shortening the length of the edge of the cable shield layer. SOLUTION: This interrupter is made by stripping off the cable sheath 4 of a power cable, and cutting off a cable shield layer 9 so as to perform edge cutting, and connecting lead wires to both ends of the cut-off cable shields 9 and 9, and covering it with a protective tube 1 which has a heat radiating fin 10 formed on the periphery and is provided with an insulating tube 2 at the center, and forming corrosion-proof layers 6 and 6 at both ends of this protective tube 1 and sealing them, and enclosing a waterproof admixture 5 in this protective tube 1, and hardening it.</p> |
