PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a method for impregnating an electric capacitor by which an electric capacitor composed of at least one coil-like winding and a casing can be impregnated. SOLUTION: In a method for impregnating an electric capacitor, coil-like windings are impregnated with a dielectric fluid (A) and heat-treated as necessary, and an excessive amounts of the fluid (A) is removed. Then, a casing which houses the windings is filed up with a gelatinizable composition, consisting of at least one kind of riol and at least one kind of polyisocyanate and containing at least one kind of catalyst and the dielectric fluid (A), as necessary, and then the gelatinizable composition is gelatinized. |
