PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an error display device where a pay data communication service using a cable television CATV channel is smoothed. SOLUTION: Error information measured by an error measurement device 27 of a cable modem 26 is sent to a server 24 in a management center 1 via a CATV channel 7, a cable modem controller 20 and a local area network LAN channel 2 and outputted and displayed on an outgoing error display device 25. Furthermore, a personal computer 13 accesses the management center 1 with a clue of accessing the Internet to allow the error information in the server 24 to be sent to the personal computer 13 via the server 24, the LAN channel 2, the cable modem controller 20 and the cable modem and the error information is outputted and displayed on a display screen of the personal computer 13 or an outgoing error display device 30. |
