<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply the brake without damaging a tape and without slacking the tape at the time of stopping traveling of the tape from a high speed tape traveling state. SOLUTION: A control device is composed of tape take-up and supply reel bases, a brake mechanism for braking the take-up and supply reel bases, a motor for driving the take-up and supply reel bases and an idler mechanism for selectively transmitting driving force of the motor to either the take-up or the supply reel base, having a slip mechanism in addition. Then, at the time of feeding the tape at high speed, this slip mechanism is not used, and the driving force of the motor is transmitted directly via the idler mechanism to the take-up reel base. At the time of braking the tape, an on/off control signal is given to the motor, and the driving force of the motor is transmitted by the slip mechanism via the idler mechanism to the take-up reel base, and also the take-up and supply reel bases are braked by the brake mechanism, so as to decelerate the take-up and supply reel bases.</p> |
