<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote control system in which the power source on/off operation of the host computer is possible in addition to data processing operation from a terminal at a distant place. SOLUTION: It is discriminated whether data inputted from remote terminal equipment 40 and sent through a public line network 33 are input data to a host computer 10 or a power supply control command for controlling the power source of the host computer, the input data to the host computer are outputted to the host computer as console data and a remote device 20 is provided for controlling the power source of the host computer based on the power supply control command for controlling the power source of the host computer.</p> |
