ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC TRANSFER SHEET AND COLOR IMAGE FORMING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the electrophotographic transfer sheet and the color image forming method capable of forming an image free from uneven surface gloss and good in color reproducibility and strong in offset resistance. SOLUTION: This electrophotographic transfer sheet is provided on at least one side of a paper base with a transparent resin and has a weight average molecular weight (Mwa) of this transparent resin and that (Mwb) of the binder resin of a color toner to be used for fixation have a relation represented by the expression; Mwa-Mwb>=10,000 and a melt inclination angle of the transparent resin and the binder of the color toner at the fixation temperature of the color toner is <=40 deg.. The color image is formed by using the color toner having a binder resin made of polyester resin and transferring the image to the transfer paper and heat fixing it.
