<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the method for manufacturing the toner free from large- sized particles and narrow in particle diameter distribution and low in fixable temperature and high in hot offset temperature and good in the image quality of a print obtainable by using this toner. SOLUTION: This toner is manufactured by feeding styrene, a releasing agent (low molecular-weight polypropylene), and a polymerization inhibitor into a medium type wet pulverizer to pulverize them in a wet state and to prepare a releasable dispersion liquid, dispersing this liquid, styrene, butyl acrylate, carbon black, a dispersant for colorants, a charge controller, divinylbenzene, and a polymerization initiator in a medium type dispersion machine to prepare a polymerizable monomer composition, adding this composition into a magnesium hydroxide colloidal dispersion liquid, granulating the liquid drops of this composition in a continuous emulsification dispersion machine, feeding thus granulated monomer composition dispersed into water into a polymerization reactor provided with a stirrer, executing polymerization reaction drying them to obtain polymer particles, and finally, attaching fine silica particles treated to high hydrophobicity and fine organic particles to these polymer particles.</p> |
