<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the labeling of cells in short response time by containing in a reagent an additive agent which is capable of accelerating the penetration of a dyeing agent into cells and is selected from among an ion conduction hole compound (ionophore), a detergent, and their mixture. SOLUTION: This is a dyeing reagent for determining blood cells, especially reticulated corpuscles, in a type containing a dyeing agent capable of labeling cells after reaction and contains an additive agent capable of accelerating the penetration of the dyeing agent into the cells. The additive agent is selected from an ionophore, a detergent, and their mixture. An ionophore is a hydrophobic molecule which rises in cell membrane permeability to certain ions with various specificites and is either a mobile transporting body or a molecule which forms membrane passing channels. This dyeing reagent is a mixture between the dyeing agent and a special additive agent which accelerates the penetration of the dyeing agent into the cells, and the time required for the reaction between the dyeing agent and the cells is shortened.</p> |
