PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent misoperation such as the charging of unfit toner of the reproducing while executing no exchange of extremely consumed parts by providing a noncontact interactive member for transferring signal and data in a noncontact state in accordance with a signal from a cartridge controller. SOLUTION: The cartridge controller and transmission and reception antennas are arranged on the device main body side of a copying machine 3 and these transmission and reception antennas are disposed in positions capable of performing transmission to an reception from a noncontact data carrier 2 attached to the cartridge installed in the copying machine 3. Therefore, when the user attempts to install the cartridge in the cartridge installing part of the copying machine 3, the signals and the data are exchanged between the noncontact data carrier 2 and the cartridge controller on the side of the copying machine 3, to judge whether the cartridge being in attempt to be installed and toner housed in the cartridge are fitted to the copying machine 3 or not or the life of the toner sufficiently remains or not, for instance. |
