PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a responder small in size and to reduce the power consumption. SOLUTION: In the case of transmitting control data from an interrogator 200 to a responder 300, a demodulation circuit 17 generates sequentially synchronization pulses of a prescribed number based on a clock signal from an oscillator 14, a modulation circuit 22 applies amplitude modulation to a high-frequency signal from a reception antenna 11 by the synchronization pulse train to generate a synchronization signal and the synchronization signal is transmitted. The interrogator 200 restores the synchronization signal into the synchronization pulse train and a signal processing part 9 sequentially provides bit data of control data to the modulation circuit 2, every time when the signal processing part 9 detects the synchronization pulse from the synchronization pulse train, the modulation circuit 2 applies amplitude modulation to a high-frequency signal with bit data to generate and transmit a control signal. The responder 300 detects the control signal by a detection circuit 16, the demodulation circuit 17 samples the detection signal in a timing, based on the clock signal from the oscillator 14, to sequentially restore bit data of the control data. |
