The method detects the result of at least one processing step and adjusts the processing step accordingly. The adjustment of the processing step according to the result is performed using automatic control. The automatic control is performed depending on a demand value specified according to the type of goods being processed. A warning is given to the operator if a parameter strays outside defined limits of adjustment.
